Providing curriculum and professional development resources about Climate Education, Green Energy, Green Infrastructure, and Green Technology to K-12 schools, Green Workforce Programs, and after school programs. Students, educators, and communities engage in project based lessons about ecosystem restoration, renewable energy such as wind power and hydropower, and sustainable alternatives to providing basic needs. Students also learn solar energy fundamentals as they explore mounting and powering solar panels, conducting solar field studies and building batteries.

Instructed and managed 11 rising high school seniors in a rigorous Young Urban Forester Internship Program.Organized and adapted curriculum for the daily instruction of fieldwork-based learning.Educators and students watered, pruned, and placed mulch down in the stewardship of over 400 trees in the Manhattan and Brooklyn boroughs.Scheduled field trips included volunteer work and data collection at citywide sustainability and urban forestry organizations such as Bryant Park's Urban Garden, Randall's Island, Roosevelt Island's Arboretum, Greenwood Cemetery, and FABSCRAP.Students and educators were able to engage in discussion-based learning on a variety of topics including urban forest conservation and restoration, air, water, and soil quality testing, the identification of native, naturalized, and invasive species, introduction to GIS and map-making, tree biology, tree identification, and care, stormwater mitigation and management, and recycling and waste management.

Assisted the Children's Environmental Literacy Foundation (CELF) team in integrating sustainability as an integral addition to children's K-12 learning experience through Communication, Education Support, and Resource Development. This included social media outreach, photo documentation, impact analysis, project management, and collaboration with the Direction of Operations in operational and communicative assignments. Educational support included preparing and completing spring programs such as the Civic Science and CELF in the Field alongside remote and in-person teams in New York, California, and Texas. Lastly, I developed educational resources and content material needed to ensure children receive well-planned and enriching educational models for building skills in sustainability.

Assisted with administrative tasks such as providing on-phone technical support to students, professors, and staff by troubleshooting their computer hardware, software, and internet issues.Scheduled appointments for in-person support, maintained the client filing system for on-campus technical issues and assisted operational staff in transporting new and/or fixed technology to students, faculty, and staff.

Collaborated with two team members to organize the semesterly Poster Symposiums. Tasks included planning event details such as assigning presentations for all participants, creating a floor plan and program of abstracts for the event, collecting abstracts, titles, and final designs for 80-120 student posters to print, assigning judges for each coded group, booking catering, a venue, and setting up the venue for the event, advertising the event through the event email, flyers, and the student activities council.

Provided leadership and oversaw agendas for all community-based occasions. Planned and executed events throughout the semester. Handled budgetary regulations and payments of participants for events such as live bands. Hosted and attended regular meetings to discuss event spending plans in order ensure successful execution of student activities.

Completed a Herbarium collection of 25 species and 15 families of native and naturalized New York state flora and fauna. My collection is now a historical document for the Sarah Lawrence College community.

Served as a Teaching Fellow for Breakthrough Miami's advanced learning summer institute. In this position, I had the opportunity to teach 8th-grade physical science through a project-based learning style that emphasizes a "students teach students" model of education. The goal of a Breakthrough Miami teaching fellow is to teach and encourage highly motivated under-represented Scholars between 5th-9th grade in the subjects of Science, Math, English, and History.

During the Boon Market Causebassador Program (BMCP), I used digital media tools for the Climate Neutral Fundraiser. I was the #1 fundraiser in my group.Climate Neutral is a non-profit organization working to eliminate carbon emissions by having brands measure, offset, and reduce their emitted carbon. Brands such as Boon Market receive a Carbon-Neutral Certification after being evaluated.In addition, I also gained experience in social media management, entrepreneurship, and marketing.I earned a Certificate of Fundraising Excellence in Climate Action from the BMCP.

Assisted in managing budgetary regulations and changes of events. Managed inventory checks and was tasked with the responsibility of opening up the building for the day. Placed in a receptionist role and was responsible for greeting and guiding guests. Organized and made appointments with catering, innovators, and small business owners. Completed databases keeping up with clientele and their technology projects as well as small business products. Hosted and assisted with the planning and setting up of events and mixers. Tasked with the responsibility of updating social media feeds such as Instagram and Twitter. Created digital media and physical flyers for virtual and in-person events. Assisted with the operations of the building and virtual events such as Black Tech Week 2021.

Assisted Published Neuropsychologist and Professor Maia Pujura with conducting experiments, organizing data, and lab management. Participated in experiments to demonstrate the procedures to students before they attempted to collect data. Collected and analyzed data as well as supervised students within the lab. In this role, I became proficient in using the BioPac Systems Inc. software. Professor Pujara and I utilized the software to instruct and conduct labs for analyzing electroencephalography frequency bands, electrodermal activity, facial electromyography, cardiovascular psychophysiology, heart rate variability, pupillometry and encephalography, alpha RMS, and EOG artifacts.

For Professor Maia Pujara’s Psychophysiology Course, I conducted research required to create a complete syllabus for the class. Discovered and organized the literature reviews and studies required for daily readings. Aided in creating a timetable in which the curriculum would be covered and completed. Supervised and provided help and resources to students in the absence of the professor. Attended lectures and guest speaker seminars.

Assisted teachers with elementary students ages 7-10 in aftercare program. Tutored students and helped with homework completion, exploring their creativity in art, supervised Sparks activities, distributed snacks and monitored behavior.

Assisted in the instruction of KidzLit after-school programs. The Florida State Alliance of YMCA's KidzLit is a reading enrichment program made to help students build literacy skills while developing core values such as self-confidence, respect for others, and helpfulness towards your community.Helped with homework completion and understanding key concepts in their lessons. Especially for students who struggled throughout the school day.

Assisted with the instruction and academic support of students ages 15-17.Helped execute workshops that encouraged students to build tools needed for their teamwork, problem-solving, and emotional regulation skills through recreation, sports, and nature-based activities.
