Unfortunately, my clerkship ended prematurely when Justice Davis did not win re-election.

As a member of RAINN's Speakers Bureau, I presented to diverse groups on sexual and intimate partner violence, as well as the applicable policies, regulations, and legislation. I also contributed to various media interviews.

•Performed legal research and advised attorneys on Title IX, plagiarism, and drug and alcohol university disciplinary proceeding issues.•Prepared clients for disciplinary hearings through case review and meetings.•Assisted in the drafting of litigation documents and filed documents with the court.

I staffed retreats for 8th and 9th grade student groups. My work involved educating students and answering questions, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, implementing programming, and forming connections with the youth. As an intern, I worked to develop programs for retreats and research new models of youth work.

I researched topics relating to victims'​ rights and current issues in the world of victims' services. I followed relevant legislation, attended hearings on the Hill and other area events, and produced memos. I also live-tweeted from hearings on behalf of the organization.

I assisted the Legislative Assistants in their program implementation, as well as directed groups of students and their chaperones to various locations in the DC area.

During my internship I spent time with the SAU detectives responding to calls, interviewing victims and suspects, and investigating. I participated in victim, witness, and suspect interviews, trials, and arrests. I assisted in research, building case folders, and documenting evidence.

As a Resident Advisor, I was responsible for 20 female high school students throughout the summer. I handled issues regarding mental and physical illness, and mainly supported the girls in a time of transition. I also worked in the art class as an assistant to the teacher, and developed programs and activities.
