I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Utah. My diverse experiences have equipped me with a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Engineering and Research Experience:Currently, I conduct research under Professor Ashutosh Tiwari at the Nanomaterials Research Lab, the University of Utah. My work involves nanoscale characterization and analysis of materials, including projects on titanium nitride (TiN) thin films on mica and enhancing copper wire conductivity with graphene. I have developed skills in conductivity testing, atomic force microscopy (AFM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). I am also actively engaged in writing my first research paper, with Dr. Tiwari and our team.As an R&D intern at HiFunda, I worked on enhancing concrete materials and production. This role involved extensive materials characterization and data analysis, utilizing techniques like compressive strength testing and microstructural analysis.In the Materials Characterization Lab at the University of Utah, I learned the theory behind various characterization machines and received hands-on training from lab manager Kim Watts. I later ran client samples independently, producing clear data and communicating effectively with clients.Leadership and Teamwork:As a shift lead at Alpha Coffee, I developed valuable communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. I also analyzed various paint samples to identify the color combination in each using UV-VIS-NIR and the color spectrum.Participated in routine lab maintenance and calibration of equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.
