- Lead a team (of over 20 people) managing the Foundation's grantmaking and social investment portfolios in health, education, child protection and the environment- Responsible for a portfolio of CHF 300 million of grants and social investments under management- One of 4 members of the Foundation's management committee and permanent guest on the Board leading the overall strategic direction of the Foundation- Board member of the UBS Optimus Foundation German entity

- Manage an international team to develop Social Impact Finance initiatives aiming to bring new types of capital to the development sector and focus on results- Part of the Foundation's Leadership and Management Committee

• Lead UBS Optimus Foundation's work as the investor in the first Development Impact Bond • Manage procedures for identification, selection, monitoring, and evaluation of education projects• Participate in development and implementation of best practices within grant-making team• Manage the identification and evaluation of new project proposals in consultation with selected experts • Engage with grantees to advise and build capacity where appropriate• Recruit and coordinate activities of consultants and evaluators as needed• Manage aims, progress, and outlook of all supported projects• Provide updates related to education projects to the Board

• Manage donor relationships, as focal point for (RED), the largest and most visible private sector partner at the Global Fund with contributions exceeding $160 million• Generate communications stories, support marketing related requests and organize partners’ launch events and new initiatives• Participate in site visits and content generation relating to Global Fund grants supported by private sector partners with frequent travel to Africa• Negotiate and apply for funding from partners such as the MAC AIDS FUND • Conduct thorough due diligence and identify appropriate grants to be supported by partners through undertaking research on the Global Fund’s grant portfolio and understanding partners’needs• Perform and submit financial reporting on use and impact of partners’ contributions• Coordinate private sector partners’ legal agreements and tax related matters• Draft and submit papers on private sector partners to the Executive Board

• Developed and implemented brand strategies and plans for a multi-brand and country portfolio leading to year on year double digit growth• Managed local distributor marketing and sales teams, advertisement and research agencies in 7 countries, operating a budget of over US$4million with frequent travel to the Middle East and Northern Africa• Directed a multi-functional team to ensure excellent execution through all steps of new initiative or brand launches (from product supply through consumer research to shopper marketing and in-store execution)• Led a pilot phase new brand launch in a whitespace market

• Participated in the integration of Gillette and Braun brands from 4 different hubs into one P&G management umbrella with frequent travel to the Middle East• Managed advertising (budget, strategy/creative brief development, copy evaluation, copy clearance, commercial production and copy testing) and below-the-line communication (print, outdoor, direct-to-consumer marketing, public relations and point-of-sell materials) for female Gillette and Braun brands in 5 countries• Directed a multi-functional project team to ensure excellence in execution (develop initiative/promotion/pricing plans, launch events, report results and learning opportunities)
