Ever since I was a little kid watching my foster parents feed feral cats, I have had an affinity for animals that aren't pets. This liking evolved even more during my middle school years where I did two Genius Hours, one on teaching my classmates facts on the Pallas cat, basilisk lizard, mimic octopus, tardigrade, and caracal. The second, on answering the question via a poster on "why wild animals are endangered?" In late middle school, I even started my own wildlife library, books paid by my allowance, which I have kept adding to throughout my high school years and still to this day. My most recent purchase is "Mammalogy: Adaptation, Diversity, Ecology/ Edition 5". I plan on getting a Conservation and Wildlife in Veterinary Medicine Online Certificate through Purdue University for Spring 2021. I am currently looking into a couple of ideas for my own benefit such as, what makes a human taste bad to sharks, how zoos affect animal behavior, what makes a coyote smart, and how a sloth stomach works. In my free time currently, I go on bird watch walks and post my findings on eBird and watch Live streams from the Natural History Museum every Tuesday and Friday.
