​Managing a recently-established HR department in a tech company that is simultaneously navigating the transformations of going multi-national and public, while operating in the fast-paced and turbulent tech industry, ​couldn’t get any more interesting an experience! ​My responsibilities include:- Setting the HR Department's SOPs, manuals and quality standards- Overseeing recruitment;- Managing employee filing systems; - Generating audit reports;- Managing employee relations, payroll and claims;- Negotiating insurance agreements;- Extracting employee feedback to improve EX;- Among others; My current focus is creating a self-operating system within and around the HR department, by integrating digital tools in daily operations and streamlining internal and external work processes, to improve the business' overall operational and financial efficiency.

Having a background in soft business, I wanted to explore the challenges on the harder side of the spectrum, notably in managing operations and people within a factory. I took the opportunity of my MBA Consulting thesis to help a manufacturer of premium bedding material (mattresses) to understand the causes of production delays, and optimize the speed of product-customization. At the end of the project, I was able to outline key improvement measures for Tech, People Operations, and plant layout with the biggest impact on reducing time-waste and improving cross-functional coordination.Main tasks and achievements:- Quantifying delays and assessing their impact on productivity;- Conducting statistical data collection and analysis, combined with literature reviews;- Identified the simplest, low-cost improvement measures with the biggest impact on boosting productivity within the production department and cross-functional collaboration; - Succeeded to engage the feedback of secluded teams to identify root-causes of delays that were undetected by numerical performance reports;- Outlined key development areas for Tech, People Operations, and plant layout, to ensure long-term improvements;

I joined a leading organization of business-support for entrepreneurial women to set up their new branch in a rural area. During this one-year project, I launched a strong, well-organized branch, supported by a network of dynamic local entrepreneurs. The branch is still active and is engaged in remedying the effects of national disasters, including Beirut Port explosion on August 4, 2020. Main achievements:- Increased paid memberships by 41%, strengthening the customer-base in the new market;- Surpassed targeted customer acquisition by 60% in a slow market with low public engagement;- Initiated best practices, documents and design templates to be used by peer branches;
