I am a masters student in psychology, neuroscience and behaviour at McMaster University. My research focuses on music cognition and perception. I enjoy this research because it blends my artistic passion with scientific rigor, and it pushes me to continuously learn new skills, communicate better, and carefully attend the world around me.Open science practices are important to me in my research. I aim to produce insightful knowledge about human relationships with music in a robust and reproducible manner. Accessibility and sharing of my knowledge and skills is also important. With these standards in mind, I have acquired many skills relating to diversity, accessibility, and inclusion; open-source computing and open science; machine learning and data science; and scientific writing, communication and teaching.
