I am a recent graduate of Smith College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in The History of Art and Education and Child Study, along with my K-8 Visual Arts teaching certificate. I am currently an arts educator within the Smithsonian Institution's American Women's History Initiative and National Museum of African American History and Culture. Following a passionate interest in equitable arts education, I have experience in classroom teaching, museum education, and extracurricular education programs. Within these vastly different landscapes, I've worked in both public and private museums, schools, and programs, with a wide range of resources and student needs in each setting. My pedagogy holds a strong emphasis on decolonizing arts access and education while bringing joy to students through art.
