I’m a Human Factors Scientist at Research Collective, a Human Factors and User Experience research and design consultancy firm in Tempe, Arizona. In this role, I collaborate with team members and clients to conduct consumer research, task analysis, usability testing, and user experience design primarily in the field of medical device development. Prior to joining Research Collective, I earned a degree in cognitive psychology followed by the pursuit of a career in clinical medicine. It wasn’t long before I joined local restaurant group, Common Ground Culinary, where I spent 6 years developing my hospitality management skills as a service and operations manager. The combination of experience in psychology, healthcare, and service has created the ideal platform to launch my current career. My academic background has made me aware of how much I enjoy the often-challenging task of processing complex concepts to deliver them as simply and clearly as possible.
