During my time as a sports anchor, I organized a three-minute sports block weekly with different sports stories in an order of what will peak our audience's interest. I also cut and edited the video in Adobe Premiere Pro while writing to the video in Avid iNews and Ross Inception so the viewer would be able to have a visual component while I speak on the topic on air.During my time as a sports reporter, I filmed high school and collegiate sporting events, cut down the highlights, and produced a script for the nightly sports block. I also created long form sports enterprise stories featuring MU athletes for Mizzou Xtra, which airs on KOMU 8 News.I also created web stories published on KOMU.com based on the content I gathered as well as utilizing X to preview what will be shown in the sports block.

I have successfully produced my own newscast on KOMU 8 for a Sunday 5 p.m. show. Each Sunday during the fall semester for the 5 p.m. newscast, I learned how to find compelling stories on different databases, curated my own writing in the news format, created supers for each story, created compelling teases to keep viewers watching, correctly timed the newscast so anchors, weather, and sports all began and ended on time, managed reporters in the field, and utilized iNEWS to create the newscast.

I have been a play-by-play broadcaster and have provided color commentary for both Mizzou men's and women's basketball, live-streamed on KCOU.fm

- Providing in-studio analysis for pregame, halftime, and postgame shows for Mizzou college football, basketball, and soccer live-streamed streamed on KCOU.fm- Live tweeting and writing sports columns for various Mizzou athletic events

This summer, I worked with UAB's Athletic Communication department primarily writing profile stories on various players. I would compile questions, conduct interviews (both on camera and sit down), and create a story based on the answers I received from the players. These stories were all posted on UAB sports official website. I attended Fall Camp for the Blazers, where I would take photographs of the players in action to be posted on UAB Football's Instagram and Twitter feeds. I would watch how practices were run by coaching staff to get a better understanding of the sport and see the men I would be interviewing in action. In the office, I assisted my mentor, Ted Feeley, with various projects such as the 2023 UAB Football Media Guide and football roster using Adobe InDesign.
