During weekly office hours, my responsibilities mainly included: • Reporting to Robert Gillespie (my assigned coach) and Ryan Mills, the Administrative Assistant for Recruiting • Handling administrative work for recruiting like stuffing mailers, addressing envelopes, organizing name tags for visits • Organizing and uploading information about recruits to online databases like JumpforwardOn game days and for other recruiting events, like official and unofficial visits, I: • Prepared and worked venues for recruits and their families to make their Carolina experience as impactful as possible • Executed game day recruiting operations (i.e. handed out and logged for-purchase meal tickets and manned jersey try-on station for recruits)

• Responsible for assisting events across the Olympic sports • Working closely with campus relations to publicize events and build campus presence • Managing ongoing partnerships with service-oriented organizations

• Worked alongside WBTV's broadcast journalist and anchor Molly Grantham as her assistant • Wrote alongside producers for the 5:30pm and 11pm shows• Reported on stories and writing for Molly's social media • Observed interviews • Shadowed other WBTV MMJ reporters• Logged and archived video from interviews and other film This experience gave me an extensive background in the industry of video production and a better idea of what working within this part of the journalism sector is like. I also was given many other incredible opportunities during my time working with Molly — like attending shoots for Dream on 3 (a Charlotte-based sports philanthropy) and other nonprofit events, and creating graphics and a promotional video for social media to support Susan G. Komen Charlotte (a Breast Cancer Research Foundation) and their annual Race for the Cure.
