Primary responsibility is to update and produce the Annual Energy Performance report (2017 year-end) that will be presented to Council and is additionally published on the municipal website. This is a primary measure of accountability to the community as the municipality is ongoingly working to meet and exceed defined energy and emission performance goals (by both the community and the municipality). This report includes a specific breakdown of energy consumption, resultant emissions and associated expenditures for all fuels and energy sources consumed across municipal operations (mobile fuels, electricity, natural gas and propane), and is further broken at a level of granularity that includes every Division, Department, Workgroup and many case tasks across our organization. The data set includes carbon neutrality costs for each segment of the organization and is a key tool used to inform our ongoing energy management responsibilities.

Canadian Overseas Log and Lumber is a Vancouver-based log marketing and management company that buys, sells and custom-cuts logs in domestic and international markets. The company works with loggers, sawmills and other timber owners to market forest products, source fibre and manage forest operations. During my time at the company, I acted as an Executive Advertising Assistant. In this role, I tended to both office administrative activities such as; filing, answer and direct phone calls, assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports, produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms, prepare and monitor invoices, etc. As well as duties that precluded to the role as an advertising assistant which include; learning and utilizing the Log Inventory Management System (LIMS), applying for export and import permits via the government, inform buying/selling reports for sales representatives, build trend reports on purchasing for management, and help to inform product movement through company.
