At my current position in Tupperware Bulgaria, my responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Translation and adaptation of all branding and marketing materials coming from head office; making sure deadlines are met and materials are received on time by all respective parties. - Creation of marketing materials on local level: after discussion with Country manager, I put my creative vision into play and together with a graphic designer we produce marketing materials for various occasions and goals.- Social media marketing strategies and their implementation (Facebook and Instagram) – storytelling and creation of posts/communication that relates to current business goals.- Creative vision, coordination and production of high-quality culinary videos.- Organisation and running of internal corporate events & conferences - planning, negotiation and booking of every single detail related to an event from the program outline to final touches with all suppliers. Events audience varies from 15 to 260 persons.- Participation at external PR events - research, sorting out, booking, organisation of logistics and attendance at Expos, sports and green activities, etc.; consequent follow-up and collection of feedback from participating sales force members to determine the success rate and satisfaction from the event.- On-going market research as well as research for marketing and advertising opportunities that fit the company’s vision for growth, brand development and recognition.- Engaging in training sessions to Sales force together with Country manager and Product manager - Occasional visits to Distributorships in order to make sure presentations are in line with company’s visionI maintain a close relationship with all Distributors and Team Leaders in order to facilitate feedback. I also act as the point of contact for Distributors and Sales force when they have marketing programs related queries.

Moving up to the Reservations Department at the Hilton Malta offered plenty of room and opportunities to reveal my sales drive on top of my superior customer service skills. I became an up-selling champion and received the Hilton Award for Excellence for achieving an absolute record in up-selling (May, 2012). Beside this success, I was valued for my honest but caring and helpful approach to team members – I would occasionally review their work upon their request and act as a point of reference and dispute resolution.

My main responsibility was to supervise and audit all transactions made at the Front Office Department, then prepare and print various reports to be used by all day functions in running the hotel. Throughout my year at the Front Desk, I acted as the Night Manager’s right hand assisting him in any task or situation which arose. At this position I learned how to approach and communicate effectively with virtually any kind of person be it the handyman, top management or a Hollywood movie star. Essentially, I acquired skills and competencies which allowed me to excel in my interactions with customers and deliver an exceptional friendly and efficient guest service. Multi-tasking and quick decision-making were critical in being successful at this position.

I volunteered for this association as I had the strong desire to be part of something bigger, that is, a cause to warn about climate change and introduce ways and opportunities in the job market that help rectify the situation. My outgoing personality was immediately spotted by the President and Vice President; hence I was offered to be part of the PR team for the Green Light For Business Conference 2010. I was in charge of advertising the event by e-mail and face to face as well as first stage of the application process. Last but not least, I was granted the compilation of the Conference booklet, hence I was responsible of liaising between top management and external professionals engaged in particular tasks of importance to the Association and the Conference (graphic designer, etc.)

During this internship, I acted as the helping hand for the Executive managers regarding all matters relating to foreign markets. My English language proficiency was greatly needed and appreciated: I was translating documentation from English to Bulgarian and vice versa as well as any communication arriving via fax or e-mail. I also got highly involved with the marketing function of the company as I was in charge of compiling a catalog as well as other advertising material.
