I am an ambitious and high-performing student and employee, eager to apply my knowledge and passion to help others through all that I do. Currently, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky studying Neuroscience and Psychology, expecting to graduate in December of 2024 with two degrees: a B.S. in Neuroscience, and a B.S. in Psychology. Primarily, I have a strong special interest in advancing oral health in all people. I believe a person's health is not complete without intentional dental wellness, and continue to see the importance in preventative care. I plan to attend dental school in the near-future, with a goal of becoming a dentist and providing my patients with the most genuine and personable care possible.My additional passions include, but are not limited to, geriatrics, neurology, and psychology. I have a special connection to and interest in dementia and memory care, as I spent my childhood watching my own grandmother decline from Alzheimer's disease and currently work as a Certified Nurse Assistant in a memory care community with long-term residents.I look forward to future opportunities and endeavors with mentors, peers, patients, and their families, and am constantly in search of new learning experiences and life lessons!
