I am attached to the client location at Pithampur, MP. My job is to support the development of BS6 vehicles and make them manufacturing-ready. All of my assignment is on virtual manufacturing(VDFA). Finding & Resolving NCR (Non-Conformity Report) related to manufacturing & Design constrain. This includes virtual and proto validation on the vehicle. We have also developed a Virtual 3D Environment of the entire manufacturing facility to simulate the actual manufacturing process and encounter errors in design. Validation of new concept development validated become easier in the 3D environment that allows designers to try and validate various concepts at once without putting in much effort. My secondary task includes encountering other rising issues on the manufacturing floor, which can be either facility-based or design information-based. Also training manuals for workers to understand BS6 layout to reduce training time and effort.
