I am a seasoned finance professional with a passion for the healthcare. I am currently the Region Europe CFO for Novartis Gene Therapies and Rare disease unit in Novartis. In this role, I oversee the financial planning, reporting, and operations for the region, as well as partner with the global and regional leadership teams to drive strategic growth and innovation. I have strong analytical skills and data analysis capabilities, which enable me to provide insights and recommendations to optimize performance, manage risks, and identify opportunities.I have over 15 years of experience that spans across various roles with a proven track record of success in each.I have experience in building and leading finance teams and have knowledge of rare disease landscape, including the specific challenges and opportunities that exist in this space. I supported the successful launch and expansion of the first gene therapy, Zolgensma, for spinal muscular atrophy across Europe, Middle East and Africa. I hold an MBA in finance from Indian School of Business and bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
