My Journey has been quite a unique one in the sense of the leap I have taken. Here it goesThis all started with getting placed in college in one of the service-based companies Wipro Technologies where I was not aware of what technology I will be working on. Being a fanboy of C++ and Java, I was quite sure of where I will be put, but destiny had some other plans, I was pushed into Data Analytics, transformation, etc. and had to deal with a lot of database stuff.Started working on this and found it interesting and keen to learn something new and drive my ambition forward with continued in the next two companies as well. With 9 years of experience in ETL Architecture, Development, Enhancement, Migration, and Data Modeling including Business requirements, system requirement gathering of Enterprise Data warehouses for Insurance, Sales, Communications, HR and Healthcare domainsMy technology stack became - Informatica Power Center | Informatica Data Quality | DB2 | Oracle | SQL Server | Teradata | Netezza | UNIX | PL-SQL | Autosys | Cronacle | Oracle Application Express | SQL Data Modeler | Talend | Hive | Salesforce While in my third job, I started feeling the missing fun of programming languages and the open-source world. So started working on Android development in my free time as this sufficed two passions which I always had - programming and seeing things change on UI on writing code. While building some android apps, I realized that the world was moving quite fast. A lot was happening in the web development space which allows desktop, mobile apps, and progressive web apps and a lot can be done using a single language (Javascript), so entered Web development and it took no time to fall in love with Web development and hence the approach to switch technology started.With almost no industry experience, my company provided me with little opportunity to work on this which helped me learn and grow while I was full-time in a Data analytics role, handling clients, and managing teams.With all this, I took a major step to switch technology and resigned without an offer, which was a start of a new journey and the rest is history now with the current stack as -Primary Stack - JavaScript | HTML | CSS | ReactJS | NextJS | Redux | Material UI | Bootstrap | DOM | Node JS | Express | API | MongoDB | Rest | Authentication | C++ | Java | AndroidFUN FACT - My full-time role as a Frontend Developer in GiveIndia started with my manager's question: Why do you want to join this company with a much lower package than the previous one?
