Key aspects of the profile included addressing, managing, monitoring and causing to undertake the Environment, Health and Safety related activities under the project, Developing policy briefing papers and concept notes based support advocacy with Government ministries, departments and industry associations, and conduct policy research on issues relating to handloom and handicrafts production in the unorganized sector and organize dissemination workshops for policymakers, and Designing, coordinating, organizing and delivering training programmes on sustainability (sustainable textile production and consumption practices). The project focused on reducing the vulnerability of the poor in the water-scarce Marwar Region and directly benefiting 80 villages of Barmer, Jalore and Jaisalmer districts in the Marwar region, reaching a beneficiary population of 100,000
