I worked in FIL for seven years. I was part of the global consumer team covering Europe and US consumer discretionary space along with London based analysts. Focus included European and US Luxury, Sports, and Apparel retail brands. I also learnt how to contrast companies' financial performance to their sustainability credentials as ESG becomes an important criteria for consumers and investors alike.
