This meant having to pay attention to carbohydrate intake if the patient was on a carb control diet, fat intake if the patient was on a low fat diet, fluid intake if the patient was on a fluid restricted diet, and potassium, sodium, magnesium, and calcium levels if the patient was on a renal diet. I was also tasked with making baby formula for the new babies at the hospital. When the department was busy, I would also help sort and deliver patient trays. Many patients at the hospital were Spanish-speakers so I was able to apply my moderate proficiency in Spanish to better assist in taking their orders. Show less
