I gained direct experience developing and implementing a strategy for equitable carbon project development in line with Climate, Community and Biodiversity Standards. I drew insights from rigorous research on CCB-verified REDD+ projects across Africa by analyzing stakeholder engagement and mapping strategies, project governance, and culturally sensitive grievance mechanisms. This research enabled me to identify best practices and address project gaps through technical assistance aimed at enhancing the leadership of local Yao communities in project design.My key technical contributions include:- Designing and facilitating participatory workshops that enabled community members to prioritize local development goals and plan the equitable allocation of future carbon credit revenues.- Establishing dedicated women’s discussion groups within the project’s governance structure after identifying a gap in women’s verbal participation in workshops.- Developing a culturally sensitive grievance redress mechanism to safeguard equity for vulnerable groups.

I managed communications for a cross-functional team and external partners (Nordstrom, Foot Locker, Wieden + Kennedy) to implement the launch of the Fall 2021 Delta Capsule, emphasizing the Delta 2’s. Additionally, I interviewed brand authenticators, wrote an Air.Jordan Blog article, and crafted the project recap. Exceeding sell-through rates for Non-Jordan Retro silhouettes, 42% of Delta 2 units sold within the 1st hour of launch and 79% of units were sold in total. My secondary responsibilities include: - Leading an independent research project on the viability of a new Jordan membership rewards program to increase the acquisition of Gen. Z consumers.- Gathering consumer insights via interviews for Holiday 2023 line planning.- Brainstorming the creation of the Jordan Women's Collective, a platform empowering a cohort of female innovators in sneaker culture.

I was accountable for researching and synthesizing open-source information on violence against environmental defenders at the Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs. Working with a Honduras-focused team of 7 research interns, I analyzed violence in the energy sector. To conclude, I successfully briefed high-level civil and foreign servants on findings and trends used to inform Bureau policy objectives.

I investigated claims of workplace discrimination via legal research, document requests and reviews, and case file analysis. To analyze the facts of the case(s), I conducted complainant and witness interviews (10+) and sifted through documents (150+). Successfully closing 6 complainant cases, I drafted and submitted 6 “Final Investigation and Basis of Determination Reports” required for determination of probable cause for prosecution.

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I mentored a cohort of 12 high school students from households of $12,000 incomes or less. The goal of mentorship was to guide students through transitions from high school to college, including holistic support for housing, FAFSA applications, and academics. My programming responsibilities included coordinating an international tutoring program with Markham College (Lima, Peru) to provide students with “New York Test Assessing Secondary Completion” (TASC) test preparation.

During the COVID-19 State of Emergency, I was responsible for leading independent projects for staffers, including:- Drafting detailed memos advising the Director of Housing and Community Engagement on legislativestrategies for NYC rent stabilization.- Facilitating logistics and community outreach for a COVID-19 relief food pantry, efficiently serving over500 individuals.- Analyzing NYC building violation trends through data compilation of 400+ buildings.

I developed and maintained a social media content calendar, posting weekly across Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to spotlight women and non-binary music producers. My role involved building and nurturing relationships with these producers, using strategic collaborations to enhance their online presence and increase engagement with their events. I was also responsible for editing monthly newsletters distributed to a network of over 1,000 subscribers, ensuring that the content was polished and aligned with the organization's mission.
