As a software engineer on the development team, I had the privilege of working closely with the company's research team. My team's role was to closely monitor the development of academic research and to improve the MVPs (Minimum Viable Products) of these researches so that they were ready for use in the production environment. These researches were essential for the company and led to the production of innovative software that improved internal processes. At the end of each project, my team was responsible for putting the software into production, while learning the techniques used by the researchers to develop these new technologies.In this context, my work mainly involved developing and maintaining software for the production environment, defining specifications with users, creating tasks, using version management tools and carrying out code reviews. Some of the tools I've used include Java, Spring MVC, JUnit, Javascript, AngularJS, MySQL, Python, Django, Vue, Docker, Google App Engine, Jenkins, Gerrit, Gitlab, CI/CD and DevOps.In addition to this, I had the opportunity to supervise interns and participate in their selection process to join the team. This involved conducting interviews, evaluating CVs and checking their technical skills. Thanks to this experience, I gained valuable leadership and management skills, in addition to my software development skills.

As a software engineering intern, my main job was to develop automated tests for mobile devices, using Python and various software modules and design patterns to improve maintenance and reuse of framework code. To write the tests in a scalable way, I used Pytest and developed custom plugins to support execution and provide a more personalized structure. The project was versioned with GIT and test execution was controlled via Jenkins. To isolate the environment with all the necessary libraries and packages, Docker was applied, while Shell scripting was used to automate tasks and run Jenkins jobs.In addition to this, I also had the opportunity to work on web development projects using a variety of technologies such as Java, Javascript, Angular.js, HTML, CSS and Spring. This experience enabled me to acquire valuable software development skills and to work as part of a team to solve complex problems.

As a beneficiary of a PIBIC scientific research initiation grant, I worked on the study and development of an approach aimed at optimizing the architecture of a chain-structured deep neural network, taking into account several criteria such as accuracy and F1-score. I used the evolutionary algorithm NSGA-II (Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II), widely used in the literature, to evaluate and compare the performance of this approach with others. At the end of the program, I wrote an article and gave a presentation about this research, which enabled me to present my results to an audience of researchers and deepen my understanding of current advances in this
