The AUC Venture lab is the leading university-based startup accelerator/incubator in Africa and the MENA region, with the aim of commercializing innovations that contribute to Egypt’s competitiveness and economic growth​​.Below is a brief description of my role: Managed an average of 10 startups per semester through monitoring, and following up, and coaching them. Connected with professors, consultants, and mentors to guide startups and ensured smooth relationships with them. Organized events during the cycle such as: the cycle orientation, the exposition, and the Demo Day. Partnered with Rise-up Egypt and create content for the Entrepreneurship know-how track of the 3 days event. Finalized startups’ contracts (incubation and payment) and follow up with corresponding departments on campus.
