In 1994, promoted to Manager of TOC and Studio Services at the Sunset Studio Facility, CNN Building Hollywood. Primarily responsible for all production and inter-connectivity operations for the facility. This included managing a floor staff of 9 plus a daily hire pool of 8. Initially responsible for yearly operating budget of $1.3 million which was reduced to $670,000/yr, target trimming nearly 49% from operating overhead for the last 2 years of tenure while still maintaining studio production and TOC facilities to sustaining levels.Offered and accepted position as Manager of Network Origination West Coast in 1997. Managed a full time staff of 14 and part time pool of 3 operators and engineers for all Culver City originated network services until September 1999.Also served as a field applicationist and transportable fiber and satellite transmission operator/engineer for Keystone/ GlobeCast North America special project events traveling to various international and domestic events such as Winter and Summer Olympic Games, Hong Kong Handover to China event, various government media tours, NASCAR Races and other high profile media events.
