For the last 8 years, I've been running a network of YouTube channels, including a large (five million subscribers) opposition Russian channel. Over the last few years, after YouTube restricted monetization of Russian channels, I have learned how to build businesses around media to increase profits. I am a person who builds teams, builds processes in them, brings them to self-sustainability and takes on new projects. In this way I've already launched author guides from journalist Ilya Varlamov and the company Easy Creators, which is YouTube consulting agency for media and journalists.My main focus is building teams with optimized processes that are both people-friendly and good for business. I know a lot about YouTube, online project management tools, and how to build a fast-paced business with remote teams that achieve KPIs. I'm passionate about analytics systems and finding technology solutions for businesses, such as using bots to help employees or analyzing data to identify product strengths and weaknesses. I like it when everything is automated and employees are not distracted by routine from their core tasks.My business partners find it convenient to work with me because I quickly understand that they need me and implement tasks without any questions. What I do best is come up with projects and launch them, thinking through business processes and roles in the team, recruiting specialists for each project.When it comes to communication, I consider myself a kind, but strict and demanding person. I am straightforward but tactful. I have about 60 people subordinate to me and I have no problems giving a person feedback, praising or, on the contrary, making a remark. Not once in my entire career have any of my employees noted any problems in communicating with me. In my free time I enjoy kayaking, biking, pottery, photography and traveling. Interested in architecture and urbanism. Lived all my life in Russia, but moved to the Netherlands since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
