I understand Artiphon's products deeply, both inside and out. I understand how and when they can be used, and by whom. That's why I was brought onto the Product Marketing team when Artiphon no longer needed a full-time Sound Designer.

As Artiphon's Sound Designer, I worked to create interactive musical experiences in both software and hardware realms. I was constantly applying my knowledge of synthesis, multisampling, and the MIDI protocol to aid me in the creation of these experiences. Music logic and interaction design was an important part of my role, along with composition and curation. I collaborated with visual effects experts to apply this content to experiences suitable for augmented reality implementation as well!I also led the organization and documentation of sound design processes, ideas, and concepts, spending time writing reference guides and outlines to aid the internal team or external partners.

I came into Artiphon as a wide-eyed intern who was ready to be put where she was needed. It quickly became evident that my deep knowledge of sound synthesis and audio sampling were much-needed on the team, and I found my place working primarily on sound design for Artiphon's instruments. I also contributed to content creation aimed to help Artiphon customers make the most out of their products through DAW integration.

As a Peer Trainer I tutored Berklee students 1-on-1 on music production topics such as DAW navigation, mixing, notation software, and more. Students brought a range of different topics to sessions, sometimes having to do with specific homework assignments, but quite often having to do with personal projects and interests.I also played a major role in the startup and development of the Berklee Creative Technology Center's online knowledge base during the COVID-19 pandemic, to which I contributed over 50 public posts regarding topics and questions frequently encountered during my peer training sessions (knowledge base linked below).
