Sample of some of the projects follow:*Conversion to Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains; Merged 3 functional units financials from three different software packages. This consisted of company setup; configuring the software to conform to company control policies; creating a standardized GL account number structure; loading customer and vendor records; loading open receivables and payables; and staff training for go live. This facilitated the companies ability to consolidate accounting operations into one shop, and their ability to deliver monthly financials timely.*Implemented ADP GL to interface the payroll general ledger entry into Great Plains; this eliminated the time consuming manual effort to record payroll costs at the site / department level.*Worked with Operational System IT staff to create an interface to automate recurring entries into Great Plains.*Bank transition. This project consisted of configuring new Micr requirements for Accounts Payables checks; creating Positive Pay file and testing; configuring and testing the ability to load paid checks into Great Plains to ease the monthly bank reconciliation burden.

>Managed conversion from in house ADP PCPW payroll application to ADP’s hosted Payforce application… including interfacing and reporting needs.>Managed conversion of 3 different in house Time & Labor applications serving 9 sites to ADP’s hosted Enterprise eTime solution… including interfacing and reporting needs.>Developed weekly interface process that uploads schedules into eTime from the Call Center scheduling application.>Developed bar code scanning method to perform labor transfers in Time & Labor application using a kiosk structure in a busy warehouse setting.>Managed 4 evolutions of GL account structure changes to align financial reporting with changing business needs within the Finance system and all supporting external applications such as Payroll and Time & Labor systems.>Maintain GL mappings in interface tools from external Finance systems, such as Payroll, Fixed Assets, etc…>Subject Matter Expert working with Database Developers to build ETL from Finance systems to a “datawarehouse” for development of a “digital cockpit”.>Eliminated revenue booking errors in the AR module by reconfiguring billing invoice templates to utilize existing software tools that automate general ledger account designations. >Management of financial applications; including report writing, data mining, training, usage-analysis to recommend process improvements, interface development, or application recommendations.
