Duties & Responsilbilities-Plant Condition Monitoring-Plant Performance Testing-Prepare and conduct visual inspection of installed Performance Testing instruments to ensure that they are calibrated, correctly installed and in good condition.-Prepare schedule of tests and coordinate to all departments concerned in order to avoid delay of testing-Analyze data by comparing actual performance with the design parameters to make appropriate recommendations and prepare report for corrective action-Conduct Root Cause Analysis of every plant derating ang tripping to provide recommendation to planning, operation and maintenance departments to avoid recurrence-Gather and analyze Operating Parameters and conduct regular inspection of plant equipment to look for trends and variations for early detection of possible problems

2x135 Puting Bato CFB Power Plant Operations Department Efficiency Team Member March 7, 2016 – April 22, 2017DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Key Performance Index*In charge in gathering all operational data from DCS needed for analysis used in day-to-day plant efficiency and monitoring including plant statistics, everything reflected in the plant Key Performance Index Report. Such data figures and values are bases for goal targets, budgeting, and planning as well as improving weak points whenever possible.*Calculating consumptions of Coal, Limestone and Bed Material, LDO, DM Water*Monitoring status of everyday trouble memo that is reflected in the KPI*Converting all data into a worksheet which will serve as technical manuscript for managers’ information.*Monitoring power plant status during normal operation and reporting major activities to Plant Operations Managers*Monitoring and calculating power plant efficiency and heat rate through standing parameters.Power Wheeling and Energy Regulatory Commission Report*Communicates to Market Operator for any changes in plant operation that could affect grid.Will directly and immediately inform/coordinate/report with MP/TAO (not with MO or SO) in any event that requires the Plant to reduce load, change in nominations or shutdown (planned or unplanned)*Negotiator every trading interval and serves as the plant internal trader to the Market Operator*Monitoring and making Power Wheeling report according to hourly dispatch instructions from the grid (NGCP)*Monitor causes of unexpected and unscheduled shutdown*Issuing of DAN/WAN to MP regularly or every time there is a change in nominations.*Prepares and submit outage/resumption reports to ERC.*Monitoring and updating power plant Machine Downtime database and report*Monitoring and Nominating Daily and Weekly Ahead Nomination to Trader and Market Operators*Monitoring and trending of Data using Distributed Control System (DCS)
