Perform a variety of technical and analytical duties requiring excellent communication skills and specialized knowledge of statistics for education. Maintain and facilitate responsible public contact; assist with data analysis and support activities including implementation of studies and analyses; analyze, program and modify database management systems; independently plan and report on a variety of highly complex statistical research projects.

Provided data and analysis to support decision-making at the University, division, college, and department levels. Working with other IRADS staff and the University community regarding the development, deployment, and management of University surveys, the visual representation of data and information in addition to analyzing data from existing University databases (such as the student administration system), and from external sources for the county, region and state; preparation of reports for publication on campus and on the web.

Research assistant for project titled Europe, Identities, Borders and Liberty. Designed and implemented qualitative study with Pakistani women on Europe and identity. Report published as part of WP6 Transparency and Accountability for the Challenge project, with support from the European Commission and the European Parliament.

Part-time post graduate assistant at the Institute of Communication Studies. Co-ordinated international students’ admissions, advised international students, organized campus tours and prepared admissions applications for review.

Research intern at SADACCA (Sheffield and District African-Caribbean Association). Responsible for compiling and writing project report, which was instrumental during the conducting of quantitative and qualitative studies in the region for a community radio project. Project was initiated to ascertain the nature of representation of Black and Minority Ethnic communities in the media in the Yorkshire and Sheffield region, and to verify the potential of alternative forms of media in the form of a community radio for the Caribbean community in the region.
