    As the hospital’s Revenue Cycle Manager for Hospital Billing and Claims, I manage a team of 18 direct reports that span across teams specializing in commercial, government, and specialty payers (out-of-state, global transplant, research studies, 340B). In my role, I focus on data and analytics to measure and improve revenue health, specifically decreasing claim hold days and improving cash flow. I created a scalable SQL-based cash goal model to improve accuracy by using historical claims sent volume and worked to improve accuracy of our Epic contract modeling for expected reimbursement. Additionally, I automated a monthly report for high dollar claims (>$1M) for the Controller and Finance teams that resulted in time savings of more than 2 days.Another main responsibility of my role is to work cross functionally across teams such as Registration, Authorization, CDM, HIMS, and Information Security. I lead multi-team meetings to remove workflow roadblocks that resulted in reaching our organizational goal in FY16.
