I like to build interesting things with interesting people, usually involving technology. I have built and led high-performing teams, coded, designed, managed products, raised millions in venture capital, led successful acquisitions, spoken at conferences, developed patents, and everything in between. Most recently, I did so at RapidAI working on healthcare/AI/apps products, and at Oracle across various teams in the Customer Experience (CX) division, driving many millions of dollars in revenue. I got to build & launch Oracle Responsys' mobile capabilities, CX Audience, CX Unity, Infinity IQ, and various other products. Before that, I served as CTO at Push IO, which handled push notifications and mobile analytics for some of the biggest names in news and sports, including NBA, CNN, MLS, Fox News, etc. Push IO was acquired by Oracle in 2014, and I led the due diligence process on the technology side as well as the integration into Oracle.Prior to Push IO, I co-founded several companies including Forkly, a food and restaurant discovery startup, and Brightkite, a location-based social network participating in the 2007 Techstars program, acquired in 2009.In 2009, I was honored to be named one of BusinessWeek’s Best Young Tech Entrepreneurs. My work has appeared in Wired Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Entrepreneur Magazine and G4 TV.Specialties: customer experience & marketing automation, identity resolution, location-based services, mobile, semantic web, iOS app development, Ruby, Rails, product development, social networking, sensor networks, push notifications
