I am a Northern California-based professional with a diverse background in environmental science, engaging marginalized communities, and developing collaborative projects. I hold a Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability from the University of Michigan with a focus in geographic information systems and natural resources management and have published two first-author research studies in urban and agricultural ecology. In addition to my professional experience, I have a strong background in ESRI platforms including ArcGIS Pro/Desktop and web-based tools, remote sensing, R, and CRMs including Qualtrics and Mailchimp. Following experience in education program management and consulting on regional policy initiatives, I am passionate about joining a mission-driven organization working in support of urban ecosystems for the benefit of local communities. My broad interests in sustainability include food systems, urban ecology, coastal conservation, and renewable energy systems. I believe that sustainability is inherently rooted in social justice and that lasting environmental protection cannot be achieved independently of support from local communities. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, running, redesigning second-hand clothing, and plant-based cooking.
Listed skills include Leadership, Renewable Energy Systems, Writing, Remote Sensing Applications, and 44 others.
