About Mayra Borcea

I'm Mayra, a financial analyst turned mathematics instructor. I discovered my passion for finance early on in my career, but my love for teaching took me on a detour. While I love teaching, I have decided that my analytical and strategic thinking skills were better suited for finance, and now I'm excited to dive back into business finance.During my time as a financial analyst, I managed multi-million dollar budgets, prepared detailed reports, and provided strategic recommendations for fund allocation. As a mathematics instructor, I honed my communication and leadership skills, and learned how to present complex information in a clear and concise way. These experiences have given me a unique perspective and a diverse set of skills that I'm eager to bring to any finance team. I believe that fostering collaboration among diverse teams is the key to success, and I'm excited to contribute my team leadership skills to any organization that values this approach.Outside of work, I'm fluent in Portuguese, proficient in Spanish, and have a working knowledge of Italian and Japanese. When I'm not crunching numbers, you can find me spending time with my family, the beach, gardening and exploring new places. If you're looking for a dedicated and passionate finance professional with a unique perspective, let's connect and see how we can work together to achieve financial success.
