-Managed a team of stakeholders, a UX architect and remote graphic designer by efficiently communicating and targeting each team member's needs which resulted in a complete website redesign for the One For One organization.-Established a creative and on-brand website interface and photo scheme for the organization within 5 months by balancing images and content to be aesthetically pleasing while meeting the NPO's mission/impact through photos and visual elements.

-Troubleshooted UIeCare product and pricing knowledge of 8 user groups to identify and fix UX issues via the desktop site and app, which resulted in reducing the drop-off rate from 21% to 10% within two quarters.-Spearheaded a UX website and app audit including user personas, site-mapping and page compositions to establish a baseline of metric tracking and boosting the reputability of the hospital by increasing patient overall patient satisfaction from 89% to 97%.-Partnered with 2 local businesses and UIHC Employee Health Plan staff to offer UIeCare as an added benefit to a group of 15k covered lives.-Bridged communication gaps to UIeCare clients via presentations and building client-relationships.-Conducted contextual inquiry on patient appointments in order to identify possible ways to incorporate telemedicine capabilities to reduce travel time and overall cost to patient and overall hospital system.-Developed a deep understanding of the health conditions of diverse communities and researched possible locations for telemedicine service-line implementation.

Served as primary assistant to center’s Director of Business Development by providing clerical support for implementation process of uiecare, Iowa’s first virtual urgent care service available through uiecare.com or mobile app.-Designed and implemented an internal project request system using WuFoo for work queue organization for in-house graphic and application designer, and scheduled project update meetings- Conducted usability testing for uiecare.com alongside software PMs to identify site issues and tracked and maintained issue progress in Sifter- Created user personas presentation for internal team that enabled the discovery of new user issues and possible pain points- Identified and coordinated team to participate in four promotional opportunities that aligned with key target audiences including the Iowa State Fair, North Liberty Mom’s Day Out, Kid’s Bike Safety Day and half time at UI men’s basketball game- Provided Spanish translations for site and established relationships with local and statewide Latino marketing agencies to develop advertising plan for uiesalud, the Spanish version of uiecare.

Tasks during my summer health internship included coordinating and running the mobile migrant health clinics held throughout rural locations in Iowa. This included: translating and interpreting in Spanish in English for medical professionals and patients, basic lab work, and taking patient vitals.
