• Maintain a customer database (pricing/contracts) and communicate / cooperate with relevant internal functions. • Coordinates cost-related commercial and business activities, as required. Developing strategies and tactics for improving profitability. Tracks profitability. Analyses and follows up with customers and/or plans to negotiate value-added opportunities. Analyze and review annual percentage rate (APR) lists. • Negotiates and guides colleagues in negotiating products related sales and marketing issues with customers. • Follows up with customers to gather information and/or assist with the resolution discrepancies.• Assessed credit risk and analyzed financial statements.• Reviewed and verified each borrower’s income, credit reports, and employment histories.• Identified, evaluated, and developed solutions to remove roadblocks to change. • Analyzed customer data such as credit reports to determine the level of risk involved in in extending credit. • Following up frequently by phone and email on past due balances with direct focus on lowering DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) and minimizing bad debt. • Identify process improvements and efficiencies by collaborating with the Sales and Accounting teams to create and improve systems and processes. • Drives collection process improvements to maximize the potential of our teams. • Generates and prepares weekly aging reports with collections comments for management review. • Focuses on meeting departmental monthly cash collection goals and targets. • Analyses customer creditworthiness by utilizing all means available to determine appropriate lines of credit. • Implementation of process and procedures for Mexico-based company for customer service, logistics, accounting, and credit departments. • Reduction of customer claims through financial and document education to customer service, sales and logistics.
