I am a graduate from De Montfort university. I have a second class upper in Bsc (Hons) Pharmaceutical science and cosmetics. I have an excellent eye for details working in the laboratory, research and report writing. Having gained excellent laboratory skill from previous work experience, I have developed the passion of becoming a formulation scientist. My time at university has given me the opportunity to work under different lab settings which I shall elaborate. I have carried out qualitative tests to prove the quality and stability of products in the Pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. In addition to this, I am also able to use complex equipment such as mass spectrometry to identify unknown organic compounds and components within a product. Likewise, I am able to perform UV and Fluorescence spectroscopy analysis to measure the absorbances in molecules. I am also able to able to carry out experiment to illustrate the utility of HPLC and GLC for pharmaceutical analysis. My personal achievement is fufilled due to the knowledge gained in cosmetic science from university. I have the opportunity to create my own skin and hair care products such as coloured lip care products, hair gels, shampoos & conditioners and body creams. I am looking forward to start my a MSc course in Pharmaceutical Quality by Design coming January at De Montfort university. Where I will be focusing on the pharmaceutical science and technology. In other words, the application of sciences to product development cycle.In my free time, I love reading books; especially on pharmaceutical & cosmetics raw materials. I also enjoy travelling. It helps me to understand different cultures (mostly foods) and lifestyle.
