Maysoon is and experienced Architect with a demonstrated history of working in both the construction and research. She is very passionate about staying in touch with the latest advancements and trends in the industry and putting them into practice. Her career in architecture has taken two parallel paths into both academia and the professional practice, through these parallels she was able to sharpen her abilities in forming and leading multiple project-based teams, multi-tasking, managing simultaneous processes and finding research-informed solutions. Maysoon provided consultancy services to high profile clients such as the National Housing Fund, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry for the Environment, Natural Resources and Physical Development, The Sudanese Standards Metrology Org, and The Sudan Delegation to the UN Habitat. Her research interests covers Housing densities, neighbourhood-based planning, public space, standard school designs and Hospital design codes.
