- Took charge of the Eddy chatbot, building intents and flows that answer text questions using CollegeDekho's database- Increased efficiency and scale in answering complex queries with an interface built on DialogFlow and Elasticsearch - Extended the same across the chatbot and other CollegeDekho products, ranging from site search to internal tools that assist counsellors in real time- Built frontend and backend code flows in Python, Django & JavaScript (jQuery) with various third party APIs- Rebuilt the Eddy chatbot for full modularity of the frontend and backend, enabling the chatbot's responses for regression testing- Took DevOps responsibilities, building uptime monitoring tools for the chatbot and migrating a manually deployed staging environment to Jenkins CI pipeline- Delivered knowledge transfer sessions for the Technology team- Delivered functional prototypes for tech demos of the Eddy chatbot

Created a (primarily) tech blog on Medium, where my first article - a layman's guide to the inner workings of Netflix - received over 50000+ claps from over 6000+ readers, and was shared extensively across social media - all on organic internet traffic, absolutely zero self promotion.

Working on speech recognition to build potential tool for customer data analytics. Worked on Baidu's DeepSpeech recognition model to adapt it for Indian accents. Built a Colab notebook allowing installations of models requiring direct access to NVIDIA's CUDA drivers on the platform.

- Designed and developed features and UI components for the StayClose Android app- Preliminary stage UI prototyping for the Wysa chatbot

Along with pursuing a Computer Science degree at Ashoka University, I worked for the Technology department here. I designed and developed software for use within the University, and also provided consultancy on the design, hardware requirement and implementation of various technological systems for processes such as tracking student movement and resource allocation.

One of the co-founders and programmers of the Secure Handshake project on GitHub (http://securehandshake.github.io/), a fortified version of a barely-coded peer to peer file transfer project I had initiated on my GitHub repo (https://github.com/mayukhnair). It's faing a bit of neglect due to a time crunch, but I plan to get back to it real soon.
