About Mayuko Watson

Mayuko is a passionate character designer with 5 years experience working in animation. Her background in fine arts informs her creative and technical approach. She loves to explore and exaggerate shapes while creating a myriad of designs that capture the variety in the human experience. Mayuko started her education at CCA’s pre-college program under a full ride scholarship. At the age of eighteen, she began working in commercial animation at MAKE LLC and went on to study at LCAD under another full-ride scholarship. For two years she balanced commercial work and art school, before being hired by Nickelodeon Animation onto The Fairly Oddparents: A New Wish.
