I am currently working as Manager(Risk Rater) at State Bank of India, SME Centre, Indore. I am presently at mid senior level grade and my job profile demands that I check and validate the internal ratings assessed by our banks credit analyst's which forms a crucial part of our credit appraisal process and apart from this I also undertake supervisory role at the centre and help my team in achieving and monitoring its monthly targets of sourcing ,sanction and disbursements of loans and I also provide guidance and expertise to the team in quality credit appraisal and also groom my junior staff by imparting basic credit apparaisal skills.I have also assisted the branch in internal/external audit compliances.Now a little about my journey at banking giant SBI , I joined the bank in the year 2009 as probationary officer and after 2 years of rigorous training the bank posted me as assistant manager(International Banking) in one of the prime branches of Indore city there I handled FOREX transaction pertaining to LC,BG, Advance against imports exports,export/import docs under collection , buyers credit , forward contracts , NRI Deposits/remittances with FEMA compliances and SWIFT Payments.Then in the year 2014 was promoted to the post of Deputy Manager and I was posted at Pithampur, which is the most prominent industrial hub of Madhya Pradesh, there I handled SME loan portfolio and appraised proposals up to the exposure of rupees 1 cr. I handled total loan portfolio of rupees 37 cr. single handedly besides looking after the FOREX operations of the branch and also achieving the targets of small value loans of various government sponsored schemes( Priority Sector Lending )and cross selling.Besides sourcing and appraising I also looked after post saction maintenance , documentation , SMA and NPA follow up.Then in year 2017 I got promoted and posted to my current position and for the past 10 years I have been with the bank .
