Leaving employment and fully embracing my entrepreneurial instincts to working on a start-up concept, a boutique agency, was the toughest brief that life handed me. I was tasked with 3 main responsibilities, first to set up a creative plan of how to start up and launch the new agency and the creative department with no existing client base at the time of the launch. Second, to devise a proactive new client approach strategy. Third, to locate suitable creative talents for immediate short-term hiring and medium term possibilities as we grow. Months passed and what seemed like endless sleepless nights working on proactive briefs and presentations, the team grew as new clients trusted us with their business. The main challenge for our startup was to ensure best creative output with the minimum creative resources available. With the consistent creative output and strong bonds with clients, the agency grew to a 6 members way ahead of our initial business plan.Range of work covered ATL campaigns, social, branding, packaging & mobile.

It is always an honor to work in a company with such heritage and pedigree. I assumed the creative leadership of a 21+ strong young and diverse creative team of Art directors, copy writers, graphic designers, visualizers and digital designers. I worked on initiating, guiding and fostering the creative thinking and crafting on 360 integrated campaigns with a major focus was on enhancing the internal creative culture to elevate the creative product and to strengthen the internal departmental collaboration to maintaining a healthy strike rate on new business pitches. Bahrain

Moving to the newly set up office in Manama to work on the launch of MTC-Vodafone in Bahrain and contributed to another major new business win, Bahrain International Circuit account including F1 Grand prix event. I advanced through the ranks from Associate Creative Director to Creative Director as the creative team grew from 3 members to 13 in less than 2 yrs in tandem with our creative reputation in the country and managed to win a couple of creative awards along the way.Some of the brands handled: Zain Bahrain (Formerly MTC-Vodafone), Zayani Motors, Bahrain International Circuit, House of Travel,Riffa Views Estates, Victory Heights Dubai, Ahli United Bank- Achieved 8th in JWT’s Global Creative Challenge for 2006 among more than JWT 100 offices around the world- Campaign Middle East Awards – Best Print / Bronze 2005- Dubai Lynx – Best DM / Silver 2007

My first Saudi experience was in Jeddah before I moved to Riyadh and then Khobar. I teamed up with several copywriters along the years and had the opportunity to work on diverse and exciting briefs/brands. I also grew my skills and thinking and managed to assume more creative responsibility while working closely with my Creative Directors.
