Through my work , as Managing Partner of Petra Tours, long interacted with local, regional and international businessmen, CEOs, diplomats, politicians and professionals, leaders of non-governmental organizations and international public civil servants. Running Petra Events Management , the division within Petra Travel and Tourism Co., a leading provider in Jordan, has been intensely pleasurable, I led it with interaction, communication and synergy over at least three decades since the 1980s. Between 2003 and 2018 the division, which also become known as Petra Events, was responsible for organizing more than 192 professional events and meetings bringing the world to Jordan. Every conceivable activity, trade, conference, procurement, cultural meetings, Iraqi oil and gas, different ministerial meetings, UN , hospitality forums, rebuilding Iraq exhibitions, regional and security meetings, and Middle East Steel conferences were just part of the events organized by the Petra Events Management under my supervision. The list continues with events like the World Economic Forum, Good Governance Conference, UN anti corruption conference, Polish Business Forums, European Commission Seminar, incentive meetings, a mechatronics symposium, medical conferences, and IT and telecom events. These are of course only the tip of the iceberg but showed the diversity, ability and capability of Petra Events team. There are also regular important international Events such as the World Economic Forum, China Trade Fair, and SOFEX, the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conferences.
