Zervos is a DGA director and producer with over a dozen years in the industry. Born and raised in Detroit, Michael received a BS in Film and BBA in Business Administration from Grand Valley State University. When offered the choice to sell car insurance or make movies for a living, he shockingly chose to make movies. At the age of 23, he was the youngest filmmaker in the state of Michigan to direct a tax credit awarded feature film. Over the next five years, his body of work includes such films as Papou (2014), The Listing (2015), King Ripple (2015), The Wolf Who Cried Boy (2016), Tommy Battles the Silver Sea Dragon (2018), Andrea Doria: Are the Passengers Saved? (2018), and Ovid and the Art of Love (2019). He has directed commercial content for clients like Activision Blizzard, Shinola, Pure Michigan, Ford Motor Co., S2 Games, State Farm, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Philadelphia 76ers, Dreamhack, Warner Brothers, PepsiCo, and others. Michael also has in new media storytelling as Head of Video Production at DBLTAP, leading a video team to develop a social media presence with tens of millions of views and counting. Additionally, he has produced experimental VR/360 content for Fortune 50 companies. He recently directed The Telephone Game, a documentary about the world of ideas.He has now embarked on a quest called Project Kosmos, visiting every country in the world faster than anyone in history.
