These involve working with data acquisition systems and data analysis tools to produce engineering reports on high value projects. Software packages used include MATLAB, Labview, Dewesoft, Pix4D, and scripting tools.

For my third and final rotation in the CASG Graduate Program, I worked as a Project Engineer (Communications) at the Warship Asset Management Agreement offices (Rockingham WA), an alliance between the Commonwealth of Australia, BAE Systems, SAAB, and NSM.Work items included the SEA 1442 Phase 4 Maritime Communications Modernisation Project and ship based communications upgrades. SEA 1442 Phase 4 is a complete overhaul of the ANZAC class communications systems, involving complete component ripout and replacement. Leonardo S.p.A. is the prime contractor for this project.As a Project Engineer, I worked directly on high value projects to modify Australia's ANZAC class frigates. Reporting directly to Navy (the customer), I followed systems engineering processes to engineer solutions to problems. This involved requirements engineering, negotiating and frequently liasing with prime contractors, engineering change management and budget management.

I undertook software programming, hardware maintenance, IT systems design and maintenance for Equal Assurance, an accredited audit and certification company using an in-house software package called Qdos. Qdos is written C#, and utilises Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET, Azure Cloud Services and Telerik controls.As systems manager, I was responsible for developing and maintaining Qdos, and managed an international team to achieve this. I responded to high level problem reports and development requests from users and allocated work to my team appropriately.Under my tenure, I oversaw the transition of Qdos through a major release, improved reliability and increased automation as much as practicable.
