Conducting effective research using external applications and public data sources, such as company registries, regulator/ exchange websites, web-based search engines and client websites.Identifying beneficial owners of legal persons with a multi-level ownership structures.Performing background checks on beneficial owners against sanctions lists & using the right mechanisms to determine if beneficial owner is not a politically exposes person.Ensuring agreement on legal terms, in line with the company's business policy as well as industry regulations. Creating and updating database systems to keep client documentation easily accessible, safe and up to date.Creating reports and appropriate communication schemes to ensure efficient communication on compliance issues with relevant departments and the management team.Supporting the CCO in designing and monitoring the company’s AML/ ATF policies and procedures.Organizing and maintaining records of the client trading activities. Preparing reports for the accounting department for the purpose of issuing commercial invoices. Responding as required to client inquiries and coordinating resolution with appropriate resources across multiple functional and geographical teams.
