As the technology teacher and coordinator in the Upper School at Holy Trinity, I:- Teach technology to students in grades 5-8, including online research skills, blogging, Google Drive applications, digital literacy, and keyboarding. - Identify and implement a range of online resources and Apps to help student reinforce learning in their core classes - such a Typing Club, Mathletics, and Reading A-Z.- Coach teachers to integrate technology and online resources into their teaching, and differentiate instruction for their students- Manage the Rosetta Stone program for Spanish classes and 9 other Independent Study foreign languages.- Purchase and manage hardware, including Chromebooks and iPads.- Supervise the 1:1 Chromebook program for the 7th and 8th grades.- Maintain a series of blogs to support collaboration among our teachers, families and students.- Keep up to date on the latest developments in educational technology, and share findings with the staff.- Supervise technology interns from Georgetown University.- Moderate the yearbook.
