As Programme Officer I am in charge for the management, coordination and smooth implementation of all on-going transitional development and emergency response projects. I lead the process of developing and implementing new projects in the sector of WASH and Food Security in emergency response and transitional development contexts. I am responsible for ensuring and maintaining compliance with donor’s quality and accountability standards. Furthermore I am in charge of the security management, networking and the coordination at local level. My responsibilities include:• Overall coordination and supervision of the projects and the program office including personnel, fixed assets, financial assets and other resources in accordance with the organization procedures and regulations• Ensure donor reporting, writing project proposals for external donors, conceptualizing and developing sectoral and local strategies• Supervise implementation of all project activities in the location by rolling out appropriate M&E system• Ensure coordination of different departments within the organization• Maintain and adapt if necessary security and safety guidelines and ensure regular review of the location-specific security plan and contribute in updating the country security management plan• Ensure capacity building of own staff and those of local partner, incl. on-the-job-training of identified key personnel• Represent the organization towards local authorities, partners and donors in close coordination with the Country Coordinator• Explore areas of cooperation with INGOs, local NGOs and communities in terms of programme development, expansion and implementation

• Ensure that appropriate and accountable modalities of Cash Transfer are in place and the approaches are adapted, as needed during the assistance to IDPs and Refugees.• Check budget consumption against target objectives according to the action plan.• Identify learning and training opportunities for INTERSOS staff and partners and work as a mentor and role model for less experienced staff with relevance to Cash Transfer Programming.• Ensure that child protection, diversity and genre issues are considered in Cash Based Transfer modalities

I oversee the design, monitoring and evaluation (DME) steps for World Vision. This responsibility includes conducting evaluations (internal and external), drafting project proposals, establishing monitoring, coordination and reporting systems. I strengthen the capacity of staff in design, monitoring and evaluation. Field workers are trained on assessment techniques. I am responsible for compliance and quality assurance for all donors. I am involved in the development of new projects and programs based on the development context, including the transition plan.

I establish a mechanism for monitoring the performance of the Region's Development Program. I provide support to child supervisors (85) in all programs with an emphasis on sponsorship standards. The specific responsibilities are: to improve the living conditions of children and their families (about 10500), to promote the right and the protection of the child and to secure the files of each child sponsored.
