Manage and ensure effective implementation of the SHEQ policies and procedures in order to maintain the organisation's ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, certification and compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Act 85 of 1993Develop annual Business plan for the SHEQ Department to ensure that the Business Unit Strategic Business plan objectives are metImplement SHEQ strategies from the SHEQ Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the lines of business in support of the organisation's objectives & targetsImplement SHEQ initiatives from the SHEQ CoE within the lines of business and ensure their effective implementation for consistency and uniform SHEQ Management systems within the OrganisationManage the lines of business SHEQ programmes to meet legislative requirements and for continual improvement, e.g. SHE Committee Meetings, Statutory Inspections, SHE Inspections, SMAT etcProvide SHEQ Support to the SHE Officers in the Business Unit in implementation and management of the Business Management SystemImplement and Manage the monitoring criteria to measure SHEQ Management performance for the Business UnitEnsure SHEQ training programs for the Business Unit are entrenched through the Training Department to meet the business objectivesReview departmental critical achievements to support the business objectives and provide feedback to the lines of business general management Manage the Business Management SystemTo Manage the SHEQ departmentManage / Control the System Deficiency Reporting and Improvement Process
