-In conjunction with the CDC, set fourth several clinical projects that served to decrease HIV infections amongst Black and Latino MSM and Transwomen by identifying, and addressing, health access barriers -Provide HIV navigation and case management to over 600 of patients who were uninsured or underinsured-Assist clinicians in counseling and panel management of over 600 patients accessing HIV prophylaxis-Assist in the nursing and lab department as a working phlebotomist and with specimen processing-Provided clinical consulting across San Francisco and participated in the roll-out and structuring of several PrEP programs-Established the first Spanish-speaking PrEP Clinic in the historic Mission District-Helped establish the first CA-based pharmacy delivered PrEP program

-Provided free anonymous HIV/STD testing to over 30 clients per given shift and helped link HIV positive individuals to care across the East Bay or near their respective counties-Provided extensive counseling and referral services around sexual health and practices-Ran over 40 lab screenings, including urinalysis, microscopy, and gram stains, to aid in the diagnoses of STDs and perform quality control assessments on all samples-Aided the physician in the collection of over 30 throat swabs, rectal swabs, and blood draws per shift

-Conducted participant phone screens to determine individuals' eligibility to volunteer for clinical studies and answer questions about HIV prevention science and clinical research-Assisted in the rollout of social disparity research studies around HIV and STDs in vulnerable populations-Helped develop a risk assessment tool for patients/providers to use when assessing risk and PrEP readiness

-Worked on a series of HIV trials including vaccines, patches, vaginal rings and microbicides-In collaboration with clinical staff, conducted screens as needed and consented participants-Assisted in management of clinical database and participant recruitment lists-Attended and lead staff recruitment events (e.g. health clinics, street fairs, special events)
