I worked as a Recruiter for the utility company Xcel Energy. They employ a vast variety of staff. Everyone from Nuclear Engineers to Business interns, I sourced/recruited for at least twenty distinct positions.

I was a Logistics Recruiter for the Albertsons grocery store chain’s Northeast region. I leveraged my previous experience in the warehouse setting to engage with potential candidates.

As a finance company FIS is highly regulated with strict compliance requirements. So, I emphasized background/compliance checks and regulatory requirements. : I reviewed resumes and application, I coordinated and scheduled follow up interviews, evaluated candidate’s qualifications and made recommendations to the hiring leaders, I negotiated job offers via internal equity and other factors, I facilitated background checks, and I tailored job post to define individual hiring leader needs.

I created an Excel spreadsheet with a color changing formula to track my daily recruiting activities. That although modified, I still use it to this day.
